Terra Energy Services is a new division of ACDI that solely focuses on power through clean energy and that delivers sustainability. We believe Electric Vehicle Charging Stations are a way for us to capitalize on the rapid push for electric vehicles and an overall, more sustainable Planet. This division will bring EV chargers to market through ACDI's existing dealer network as well as look for new opportunities for our current network to expand.

TERRA ENERGY SERVICES SALES [please apply online]:*

The Terra Energy Services Sales Representative will find and screen potential customers and reseller partners who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal person will have a strong understanding of the sales process and will excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and managing current relationships. To be successful in this role, you should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.

This successful team member will work in tandem with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients, and vendors. It will be of the utmost importance that team members support ACDI’s mission, vision, and core values. Ensure discretion with confidential information. Practice individual time management and encourage team members to implement healthy time management behaviors as well. Support a collaborative work environment including courteous, helpful, and professional behavior.

TERRA ENERGY SERVICES SALES REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:*

Become familiar with Terra Products and Services

*
Utilize CRM, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities

*
Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products and services

*
Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities

*
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

*
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and partners for sales executives

*
Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly and quarterly results

*
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:*

*
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred

*
2+ years in sales and/or business development experience or knowledge required

*
Must be a strong writer and public speaker in front of large groups

*
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties while demonstrating critical thinking skills

*
Subject matter expert/industry experience a strong plus

*
Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc) required

*
Familiarity with Google and Zoho applications sets you apart

*
Experience presenting to executive level management preferred

*
Strong professional communication skills (via phone, email, and in-person), problem-solving, negotiation skills, technical capacity, project management, and collaboration

Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company or team information

Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively, be adaptable to change, anticipate upcoming needs, and prioritize work

Ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*

Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time

Must be able to lift 15 pounds

Ability to travel up to 15% annually or as needed and fly on a commercial airliner across the U.S. and globally via plane and driving as determined on client/meeting location. Overnight stays away from home will be required.

May be required to furnish a passport or other identity documents for international travel
